Your devices
Security telemetry requires a connected desktop/server agent. A web page alone cannot virus-scan a phone.
What Guardian checks — Windows Defender, firewall, recent detections, scans, updates, free disk space and encryption when available. Green means a control was reported enabled; amber means review; grey means unknown. This cannot guarantee your device is free of malware. Start a scan using the Windows desktop app and view Defender results in Windows Security.
PC Malware & Virus Scanner
Scan your own Windows PC using Microsoft Defender. Guardian gives you the installer and a local report. Your existing console and device monitoring remain unchanged.
Safe cleanup: Defender attempts to quarantine or remove detected threats according to its protection settings. It does not promise to remove malicious code from every infected document while preserving the document. Guardian never silently deletes your personal files.
1. Download PC scanner
Download the package to your Windows PC and extract it.
2. Run your scan
Right-click RUN-GUARDIAN-SCAN.cmd and select Run as administrator. Choose a quick or full scan when prompted.
3. Review cleanup
Microsoft Defender handles threats. A report is saved in your Documents folder, listing detections, actions, and any files requiring attention.
4. Repair affected files
Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Protection history. Restore only confirmed false positives; reinstall affected applications from trusted sources or recover clean backups.
Note: This page cannot start a scan on your PC remotely yet. A securely enrolled Windows agent is required for that feature. The scanner reports locally; it does not automatically upload private file paths to this website.
Server antivirus & security
ClamAV has been installed and a limited command-line scan completed. Server reports remain private; this page does not publish them or claim to be a live threat monitor.
Current status: The server scanner can be run using a private SSH command. Scan reports are saved outside the public website. Live scan status and detections will only appear here after we integrate the existing console's authenticated API and authorisation checks.
Server checks
ClamAV scans for known signatures. A clean result does not guarantee the absence of malware. No automatic deletion or quarantine is enabled.
Administrators: use the private CLI tools under guardian-private/tools/ to run scans and review reports. Do not place reports in httpdocs.

IP addresses and security activity
See remote IP addresses observed by your devices. OUTBOUND usually means your PC contacted a website or service. INBOUND means another computer initiated contact with a listening service on your PC. This remote-IP list alone cannot prove direction, a logged-in person or a hacker; the Windows Guardian app displays local best-effort direction and process information.
If an IP looks unfamiliar: It may be a normal website, web browser, Windows update or cloud provider. On your PC press Windows+R → resmon → Network → TCP Connections, identify the program and its remote address first. To block a genuinely unwanted connection, open Windows+R → wf.msc → Outbound Rules → New Rule → Custom → Remote IP and make a specific, reversible rule. Never block every address. This dashboard is read-only.
What this shows: recent established TCP remote IPs, SSH/Windows failed-login records when accessible, and Fail2Ban data when a server agent reports it. What this cannot do: identify the person behind an IP, see everyone on a network or prove a device is hacked. Information is read-only and may be delayed.

A Right First Time UK service, free for eligible members. Public-information searches require your choice. The website does not automatically scan AI systems or private social profiles. This section does not upload or store your personal search terms with Guardian. Opening third-party search and AI services may transmit data to those providers.
Privacy first: Search providers may record a query when you choose to open their websites. A result can be outdated or about somebody else. No automated removal is promised. Do not enter passwords, ID numbers or confidential information.

Search for your own publicly visible name or username. Searches open Google in a new tab only after confirmation.
AI search & impersonation
Check AI/search services yourself, confirm any claim with its original source, and report impersonating profiles through the social platform. Guardian cannot see private AI training data.

Use the Windows Guardian app for your locally encrypted request tracker. The web version does not keep a database of personal cases yet.
Write down the organisation, date, what you requested and the response. An ICO request may have legal exceptions.

A source IP is an address observed in logs, not proof of who owns it or that an attack succeeded.

Each device gets its own revocable secret. No other user can see its telemetry.
Use this one-time key in the Windows Guardian app. It expires after 10 minutes and cannot be reused.

Only use this if an existing agent needs a 64-character token. Normal Windows installs use the activation key above.
Copy this advanced token now — it will never appear again.
Store the token privately in a local environment variable, not in a public file or screenshot. For existing/manual agents only. New Windows app installs should use the one-time activation key.
Monitoring is not a guarantee of protection. Alerts require assessment before remediation. Guardian does not delete files, ban IPs or change firewall rules from this console.
