Inbound versus outbound

Outbound: your PC connects to a website/service. Inbound: a remote device attempts to contact a service on your PC. An unfamiliar IP alone is not proof of an intrusion.

Review connections

On Windows, press Windows+R, enter resmon, then open Network → TCP Connections. Verify the program, PID and remote address. Only block an address after confirming it is unwanted using Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security (wf.msc). Avoid blocking services blindly.

Virus and malware checks

Microsoft Defender scans viruses and other malware together. Choose Quick, Full, Custom or Offline Scan in Windows Security. Guardian monitors Windows Defender; it is not a separate antivirus engine.

Identity, data removal and fraud

Use the Guardian private console to search public information with your consent and open official removal/fraud reporting links. No automatic searching of private accounts or AI-model training data is claimed.
